It was a delight to team up with author and educator Rachel Howard and Yuba Lit to design these poster announcements for the exceptional literary reading series in Nevada City and Grass Valley, California.
Each gathering is unique, the participants both distinguished and entertaining. I enjoy creating the layered looks for each event. They are displayed online and on pinboards and windows all over town. As the printed versions are only 8/5 x 11, space is limited, and they are challenging little puzzles to pull together.
Each occasion becomes a gathering point for the robust literary community in Nevada City. They are frequently standing-room-only and always inspiring! Thank you Rachel and YubaLit!
